On the weekend of the 8Th and 9Th November we went by micro (bus) to San Antonio de Areco where they celebrate El Dia de la Tradicion.
We stayed in a house that had 2 bedrooms, dining room, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. It also had a veranda that went around the whole house and a garden out the back. There were toys and bicycles for us to use.
After lunch we went to a park over the old bridge where the gauchos were riding their horses, taming wild horses and lots of other competitions on horseback. One time a horse came bolting to the fence and everyone got up and ran away.
The girls were dressed in pretty dresses and the boys were dressed in pants and a t-shirt with a leather belt with coins and a knife.
The next day in the Plaza we saw a parade with the people on horses that had come from long distances. Me and Oliver had a lollipop which was the shape of a cone.
The weekend went very quickly and then it was time to go back home.
What I'll remember most about San Antonio de Areco is the lollipop!

Sofia,
That horse looked pretty tall.
Were you OK up there?
Also his gaucho outfit looks amazing!
